Yellow
Symbol of The Mind
Next to white, yellow emits the maximum amount of light. As one of the primary colors, it stands alone. It is new thought and a new dawn.
Yellow is a Mental Ray and is known as the “Level of Intellect” (Man has separated himself from the animal through the development of the Intellect.) It stimulates the Logical Mind and the Reasoning Powers which causes understanding and discernment to be implemented.
Yellow deals with the Mental Plane:
It can create castles in the air and lose contact with reality as a coping mechanism if its reality becomes too painful to endure.
It can become involved with the visions of the future to the extent of losing the NOW in the shuffle. (I think of this as day-dreaming to the extreme.)
It has a gift with words...great color for writers and public speakers
We “think” in yellow (wisdom).
It is a mourning color in Egypt
It is courage in Japan, the color of cowardice in the U.S.
It is the color of merchants in India.
It is the symbol of deity in some global areas.
The ancient Egyptians believed that colors revealed the true essence of a person or thing and that they could provide protection against magical properties. To them, yellow represented the eternal and the indestructible and were qualities of the sun and of gold. They believed that the Gods skin and bones were made from gold. Their funeral jewelry was made of gold and so was the mask. They believed that the person who wore the jewelry and the mask would be restored to life and live as long as the sun shines.
Yellow is the best color to help you make changes and to draw like-minded souls to you..perhaps your soul mate.
