BLUE

Symbol of Inspiration

Blue is the color of faith, spirituality and idealism. It is indicative of a feminine nature or the feminine side of a masculine nature.

It is a contractor and a restrictor. It slows things down so that it can combat those diseases where there is a rise in temperature.

It brings into man's awareness the truth of objective reality as opposed to the truth as interpreted by man's limited experience and ignorance of the laws.

It offers inner peace through the understanding of the individual's connection to all that is in the Universe.

  • We sing the blues.
  • We experience blue Mondays.
  • We have true-blue friends.
  • We talk a blue streak
  • Ideas come out of the blue

Something borrowed, something blue symbolizes fair skies and everlasting love.

Blue Laws reflected Puritanical codes of laws. The original laws were named blue because the binding of the books containing the laws was blue.

Blue blood is said to have originated with the aristocratic family who could not tolerate the thought of having red blood as did the masses.

It will calm a spiritual condition and bring quiet and peace of mind.

It will communicate one's inner feelings and consciously recognize one's own needs.

It seeks to find truth and confirmation within rather than from others.

It seeks to let go of memories and live spontaneously in the moment.

Ancient Egyptians associated it with the Amon, the God of the Wind.

Those who live in the color Blue are versatile individuals. The more situations they can become involved in, the better they like it (perhaps a good definition of a workaholic).

The Blue person searches for self-understanding and self-development in each new experience. They look for truth in all things. It is important that they find inner security, for that will allow the insecurities of the ego to fall away. If their faith is shaken, they may exhibit the negative attributes of apathy, impatience, irresponsibility, or self-indulgence. Their faith may turn to superstition and all trust in self disappears. To cope with this type of trauma, they may seek to accumulate material goods to take the place of the inner security they have lost.

Blue people have the capability to communicate to others their personal understanding of the life process and assist others to live their lives more happily.

Light blue used in conference rooms has been found to allow for greater communication in meetings.
