Indigo
Indigo is the Symbol of the Mystical Borderland where Wisdom and Spirituality are Attuned Through Meditation.
Indigo is the color of higher perception, practical idealism and instinctive knowledge. It has the ability to see “within.”
Indigo will help integrate the material and spiritual natures of man.
It will enable him to focus his consciousness on the many unseen worlds beyond.
It will calm the mind through meditation. A calm mind is necessary to enable an individual to see the whole rather than the separate pieces of the whole (A calm mind can mirror the Universe in its totality).
It is thought to be the color of Visual Purple or Rhodopsin which is necessary to distinguish form or objects in dim light.
Indigo is deep blue with a small amount of clear red. The red in Indigo intensifies the blue and gives it greater power.
Indigo controls the Pineal Gland.
It governs both physical and spiritual perception.
Those who live in the vibration of the Indigo color possess great intuitive understanding of the life process and are often asked to share their understanding.
The Indigo individual feels there is no purpose unless love exists. He will seek justice on all levels and demand total fairness in all dealings. He strives to narrow the differences between 'how it should be' and 'how it really is'.
If the Indigo individual decides to withdraw from the battle to become a recluse or hermit, the negative aspects of the color will surface...all sense of responsibility will be set aside, he will become set in his ways, and the desire to serve will change into busybody work and interfering in the lives of others.
If mankind were capable of focusing on the Indigo energy, inhibitions would fade away, minds would be broadened and an understanding of the process of life would come into being.
